After several intermittant problems with the controls not working,I replaced the crystals with no improvement...a co-worker let me borrow his transmitter and everything works fine...BAD transmitter...('stock' included in the Savage 25 RTR pkg)...:>)...RCR

Rookie that totally sucks. You may want to talk to your LHS they might be able to help. However I wouldn't hold your breath for that to happen though. I know that HPI will totally fix it up for ya plus probably send you some freebies too. Later

As long as you have not had the RC more then 30days. Then HPI will replace it without any problems. I had the same thing happen to my Maxx.

Thanks for the replies....my LHS,where I bought the Savage, has been very co-operative in this matter...they gave me new batteries,a new set of crystals and are willing to get the defective equipment replaced...however,they told me that HPI would replace the item faster if I handled it myself...they indicated HPI didnt place the priority on dealer requests that they did on retail customers problems....I will know what they (HPI) will do today,hopefully...BTW...the Savage 25 is AWESOME and,if I have to buy another transmitter,I am still satisfied...:>)...RCR
