It's Here!

After all the posts and information sorting I narrowed down my decision for my upcoming racer project. I stumbled onto a great deal for a Serpent 710 kit NIB. Anyway, the kit arrived about a half hour ago and all I have to say so far is WOW, this thing is incredible! The instruction manual is absolutely awesome, the box it came in can actually be reused to store parts, etc.

This kit is quite a step up from my HPI's that I had been tinkering with, this is exactly what I was looking for. I might be able to get started on this Serpent 710 this evening.

Thanks for all the help from everyone that posted giving me information on the current kits that are out, I learned quite a bit and still am learning!

Talk to you all later, I'm sure that I will have more questions and even problems to work through. This is a great Forum with quite a few helpful people.

and toss the foams that came with it. They're garbage.

use the included foams for your engine break-in. they most likely have tons of dry rot. if you want some tips for the 710 go to http://www.daltonshop.com/tips_tricks.htm. when assembling the kit, pay extra attention to the diff and shock building process.
