It's here!!! RD Racing Starter Box.

My RD Starterbox came yesterday. I've only taken it out of the box to look at, haven't used it yet. I can say this though, this thing is nice. Very well made and without batteries it is very light. I've got to find a backplate fpr my engine so I can take off the sleazy start and shed some more weight. In the box, I also had my Quick Turn Drive shaft. Another very nicely made piece of hardware. Can't wait to get everything put together and try it all out! Will give everyone my later.

I'm interested in the shafts. I have read a lot about them but havent heard much from users.

Mayhem, what other types of reviews would you like? sl0eg1n, my brother, has the new X-ray and has yet to run it. would that be a good subject? Besides, it's a good reason to put my camera through it's paces now that I know how to use it with some proficiency.

I have the new Magma charger. Got it as soon as it was released. Even has a dyno feature for testing the motor as well as running it in. I can compare it to the Pulsar2.

Sweet, everything that I have from RD is top quality. I am just waiting for those axle carriers to come out!!!!!!

Quickturn installed, really nice but haven't run it yet. Think I would learn from my work practices and wait to rip out the easy start until I have everything else to make my new starter box work. Oh well, it didn't work worth a poop anyway. Word, you need a bigger flywheel with the stock 2.5R, it's the 40mm optional one. And hardly anyone stocks the backplate so it's coming as well.
