Thanks for the advice! I honestly think (hope) that the carb was causing my problems. I could not get it to idle, and no matter where I set either needle, fuel spat out the exhaust. I also believe I had an airleak (maybe still do) and am trying very hard to combat the problem.

Keep us posted on yours, as well. I'm rather new to this hobby, but I have learned five years worth of stuff here in just a few weeks LOL!

My new shocks came yesterday, so I think I'll throw those bad boys on today. I have the 2.5, and upgraded to the 3.3 shocks, so at least the ride will be better while I save up for a carb LOL. They are only about 40 bucks or so, but right now I'm a bit strapped, so here's hoping! :)

u can take the carb out and change the washer or refresh it by putting an oil on the washer and rub it and then just put it back into the engine,I have not notice any other petrol spat near the carburetor, only next to the exhaust but I have made much longer exhaust tip so petrol doesn't spit onto my suspension parts, now I'm charging my battery pack over night and tomorrow
I will go to tune it for best performance, hope that everything will go well, will keep posting...
will see how everything goes....

okay,My batteries were charged and my engine was ready to run so I started my beast and do 5 laps on a factory settings, after those 5 run I have changed the settings,I have make the mixture bit leaner but still reach, before the tuning engine was running very hot on the factory settings, once it was so hot that there was an smoke coming from the engine, that meant to run quickly to the Revo an kill the engine, well no damage to the engine some how :whhooo:
not even the glowplug :whhooo:
after that I let the engine cool down for a bit,it was damn hot.....
when I got it tune it was running like a rocket,it runs reach but not too rich,it's just perfect for every day using but I'm thinking of leaning the mixture a bit,it does wheelies but not on demand :\
it runs very cool, after an 10 minutes run I was able to touch the engine for 10 seconds with out saying OUWW :hehe:
it runs great and it only took my 2 minutes to tune my engine,I'm really happy from it and also it must be my lucky day as tomorrow it's my birth day and I'm gonna be 15 :p:
if you still have troubles in tuning your engine then go and check out the Traxxas website and I have found that info very useful, make sure that you check it out.

now all what I gotta do it's warm up my beast and head to nearest BMX track :hehe:

okay, I just came back from local dirt BMX track and have used two full tanks and had 30 minutes of great fun with no problems whatsoever.
it run's great with high performance and engine doesn't spit with the fuel any more....
it was so easy to tune it.

There is a skate park up here near me, but made of concrete (when I used to ride it, we called it Concrete Death for obvious reasons. However, I live RIGHT by a nice little field and a dirt ditch, so I'm gonna break it in next door hahaha. :)
