i was trying to set up the lipo cut off on my blur speed control and for some reason it wont let me

yes i'm using the castle link and with the factory defaults the lipo cutoff is off. . .and i was trying to turn it on. . .and every time i try it says it is having trouble communicating with the controller

Ok, I don't remember if the blur esc has the little plug or if you have to program it through the wires going to the servo. If it has the plug, you have to plug it directly into the esc, not into the servo plug. you don't even need a castle link. most people that have computers will have it. i was programing a mamba max last night through the servo plug, it would not work, i had to pull the esc out and use the plug directly into the esc. you do not need the little circuit board included with the esc if it has that plug, just plug the black cord directly into the esc.

Auto Lipo is set to on from the factory. From HPI "The auto lipo setting will auto detect if you are using 2 or 3 cell lipos and set the cut off voltage accordingly"

i went into the settings and under lipo cut off. . .it said. . ."no lipo cutoff"

Do you have the batteries in it while doing this? I know it's a dumb question, but....

Are you using version 3.29?

i got it figured out. . .they was a problem with the firmware in my esc so i called hpi and they emailed me an update for it and now it works just fine,
