Slipperclutch problems

Yea in the third picture there should be a nut that helps you adjust the slipperclutch.your gear looks ok u just need the nut.when you put it back on dont over tighten it.hope this helps you.

mabey a clean lmao

not trying to pick on u but i dont know how people can let there rigs get filthy like that... myn has to be clean all the time

solly69,
not trying to pick on you either but, not all people buy a rc truck to call it a shelf queen :) back to topic :)

myn isnt a shelf queen lol it gets driven nearly everyday in the dirt
i just like to clean it after

yea anyways back to the topic...
still a nice looking rig :)

From your picture, you will need one more of those concave washers and the nut that secures it all to the input shaft.

people,i don't know if it's me or not, but pay closer attention to the picture,it looks like the round piece behind the gear broke in half? i'm not sure.

nope its just the clutch shoes, his problem is he doesn't have the spacer washer nut and spring.

Cheers guys,,

Yeah i know its filthy mate i only got it 2 days before i put the post up got it for £50 off a mate so can't expect too much, lol I'm borrwing a mates ultrasonic bath next week and getting her cleaned up. Thanks for the replies once again. pretty good forum goin here after bit of browsing earlier.I have ordered a whole new slipclutch online so i will fit this when i take her apart for cleaning. Should be eventful as first time and usually whatver i take apart i end up with spare parts left over.

Just wondered if anyone here has revo 2.5 recommend any mods/hopups?
Or anyone know if posiible and what is needed for 3.3revo engine transplant?

Cheers

Mont

Oh n its all about a bit of dirt mate it aint a birds truck mate... bit of mud does no harm for shell,

ok bro all u need is to put that ball bearing back in, get another washer and a locking nut and you'll be golden. dont forget to check everything like screws, nuts, and any thing else that would shake loss to prevent things like this.

3.3 engine should drop right in.
Hop up possibilities seem endless. Maybe the 3.3 should be the first stop though. The pictures look like you might have a front bearing leak on that engine.

1st Step: Take your truck apart and clean it! It will be easier to work on/diagnose the problem if its clean, you will also learn a good deal when you take it apart.
2nd Step: If you have already resembled your truck turn it over and take out the 4 screws that hold on the skidplate type thing, then take out the 2 little screws out of your driveshafts and take the transmission out. Then you can take the spur and slipper off and tell what you need. For an engine i would try to find a new o.s 18tm on ebay. Its a great engine :first_place::second_place::third_place:
