if I let my engine Idle for while the idle slowly climbs higher and I was just wondering if this would hurt anything...

how much higher and does it stall out ..if its lean it will usaually rev up and die out

it hasn't died yet but I have only let it idle for 45 sec tops.. Has awesome off the line power no matter how long it idles..

Sounds like you might have the lsn a little too lean. Try richening it up a little. Do you have a temp gun yet? If so what temp are you running at?

Sometimes idle will slowly rise if the LSN is a touch lean. That's just the engine burning off extra fuel that has built up in the crankcase. If it doesn't rise, but then stalls, that's usually a sign it's a bit rich...

I don't have a temp gun( already want one though) but I have been using the water drop test and 1-2 seconds before it sizzles off..

The thing that puzzles me is that when properly tuned(LSN) the 2.5 pulls wheelies and mine is just a hair rich from them

I too have a 2.5 and mine idles up too! Just adjust the HSN and the LSN. Try richening out the LSN that worked on mine. Good Luck!
