i just bought the new .18 cvr from o.s for my nitro tc3. i chose this over the .12 tr. it is said to have 1.35 hp @ 30000. the .12 tr has 1.1 @ 30000 the .18 is only 10 dollars more on tower hobbies, is this a good descision??? do any of u know any more about the .18 cvr, thanx for the help

I have never had an OS engine but I have heard nothing but good about them. I think you will like your OS .18 CV-RX.

Hey Nitro,

I just recently purchased a .18 CV-R for my nitro MT due to it have the same size block as a .15 and there is only one word for it and that is WICKED. With that engine it my truck it won't even do wheelies it just spins. I am new on here and don't know if your cr is 4 wheel drive or not but I took the front dogbone out of my truck a while ago and was forced to put it back in because it was fishtailing all over even on the road. This engine is awsome. When you go to break it in be patient because it is a bitch to start after about the 3rd time but it will get worked in. mine starts VERY first pull all the time now. I've run some OS engines and have all but good things to say.. I think you're gonna like it.. Very reliable and easy to tune.. Good luck..Enjoy.

I think its pretty good, I saw the dyno test the os .18 has 1.56hp, more than it clams. Good luck.
