Is the Savage X better than the regular Savage ? I had a Savage for 3 years and never had a problem with it. Was wondering if any one has had any real problems with the X ?

I would say yes. It address the Diff issues, Servo saver, engine protection and an easier radio access. Too bad the linkages still suck.

I don't think so but they inlcude bigger hubs. They come with both 14mm and 17mm hubs. The wheels are 17mm so you will need to get some 14mm rims but I think you are better off with the 17mm.

Thanks

Thanks for the help, I am going to pick one up next month. I have a Revo 2.5 & 3.3 and a ofna X1crt right now. I got out of RC for a year and missed it so I am buying new trucks and wanted a little info. Thanks again

Not really on the topic but how do you think the savage compares to the revo?

Savage & Revo

My old savage was tougher than the revo. I never broke any thing on my old savage that I can remember.

I think the revo, because you can lower it lower to the ground and it handles much better when it is lowered. But the savage can handel some killer jumps that I do not think the revo could even at the highest setting.
