is it worth the extra money for a factory team kit over a "regular" team kit? also, do you think 200 bux is a good price for a team kit (unassembled)?

I believe that AE is the only manufacturer that refers to their upgraded kits as "Factory Team" so I'm assuming its a GT.

The answer is two fold.

If you have the money, yes.
The Team GT comes with most of the hop-ups that you will need to be competitive out of the box. Don't forget to budget in all the rest of the parts as well. $100-$200 for servos, $100-$300 for a radio, $20-$30 for a battery, $100-$300 for an engine, $50-$100 for a Starter box, and another $100.00 for miscellaneous items.

Your looking at $500-$800

Or you can get an RTR and up grade as you go along.

I have a "Near Mint" Factory Team getting ready for the Auction Block. PM me if your interested.
