i currently have a hyper 8 with a mach.28 engine...i want to get a revo 3.3 because the hyper is giving me A LOT! of problems  after i broke in my engine..everything went bad..my brakes failed and the servo keeps getting broke from only 5 minute use..I've changed 3 servos, 2 pistons and 4 pull starts in 2 months! so how big is the revo 3.3 engine? is it faster than a hyper 8? which one would you choose?

i changed my mind about the revo or the tmaxx i think I'm getting a savage xl..the 5.9 big block one...what do they mean 5.9 big block?? is it bigger than a mach.28? faster than a hyper 8? I'm getting a truck for desert bashing only so ill be on high rpm most of the time but i still need some low end ...is the savage good?

the revo is a really good truck nice and big lots of power lots of mods you can pretty much get parts where ever you want

I bought a Revo 3.3 back in May. Had I done more homework, I would have bought a Savage.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Revo and it's taken a real beating with what I consider minimal damage.

I will never buy another traxxas nitro again, i had a tmaxx and it was nothing but problems. I just got a HPI Savage and its SICK! Its nothing but fun I'm never screwing around with it, i havent really been hard on it yet though. As long as I'm not tuning the motor every 5 mins (like Traxxas) i dont care if i have to wrench on it cause of my stupid driving.

I have a team losi LST Aftershock. So far we have run 2 1/2 gals of fuel through it and the only thing that broke was the pull start . we do'nt bash it like the crazy stuff you see on youtube. But my 10 and 12 year old do play hard. I would buy one again but my son also wants a Revo. I look it over and it sold me. Ordered a black one but it is a $150 more than the LST.

I love the Revo, but for me nothing beats a Savage. JMO

If I was going to get another nitro it would be a Savage. But I know for sure my next one will be electric, either a crawler or a Slash for my son.
