When I got my maxx a few months ago and it ran fine no over heating no problems. so afew days ago I was driving it around and it ovrhetd so I tried lean the fuel and richen it but it always runs hot it has been about 95 to 100 deg.'s out is it just to hot or is something wrong.

When you say over heating what are the temps at theat moment? I would'nt lean it out if its over heating. Do you have sufficiant ventilation in your trucks body i.e. holes? Driving it in the grass will naturally make it run a little hotter. If I'm reading this correct your saying "that your engine is 95-100 degrees" correct me if I'm wrong.

I dont have a temp gun but i have done the water drop test and smoke comes from the engine the out side temp has been 95 to 100 sorry about that
and yes their is a cut out in the windshield and drill holes in the back an the rear shield has a cut out

buy a temp gun then try again. Also a normal nitro engine runs temps between 220 and 260 when tuend correctly.

The first question I would want answered would be are you sure it is overheated? If so, what are the indications or symptoms you are getting?

The reason I ask is that you might think it is overheating and it may be some other problem. There are number of problems these little engines can develop.
