I'am new to the Revo family. I had a T-Maxx 3.3 before this. Is it just me or do they have a really big turing radius? Compared to my T-Maxx its like driving a Cadilliac " handles good but dont' really turn well". Is this normal out of the box or is it me?

Look like normal, although i have the new t-maxx 4908 and most of the parts are revo spec. Let somone else put there $.02 into it

There is a thumb dial on your Transmitter. With the your Transmitter on ,Electronics on the car on but engine off, turn that dial. It should increase your turning.

Isnt that just the steering trim,or is it dif with the revo?

There is one where the thumb sits. Not one of the small dials by the antenna. It is by the reverse switch.

Is that only on the new revo? or all traxxas radios? i have the new t-maxx and didnt notice one? Thanks Jon

I am going nuts. I can't find the pic. TheE-Revo does not have it. I checked the manual.

the revos have bad turning radius period to get a little more you can grind out the bump stops but what i found helped most was getting a faster servo

If you look on the Traxxas site there is a how to on the steering mods. Its my understanding that the stops on the steering were to limit the amount of steering so beginners would not over correct when driving. The mods are easy and work great. You can also purchase the Platinum Part if you don't want to grind. With the mod I can turn a circle on any part of our track (probably 4'-5' radius)

Yea my t-maxx dont have it either jon. I stared at that remote for 10 mins looking for it when i went outside this morning.

I noticed with mine, a lot of the big turning radius comes from the front end lifting under moderate throttle. On a nice flat hard surface and minimal throttle applied, the turning radius isn't nearly as bad. I take all the preload off my springs and try to run a lighter weight oil if the turning radius is a concern. I also use the center diff conversion which helps keep the wheels on the ground also.

To take out the steering stops, I used a utility knife with a good blade to remove them. A dremel works good but I was afraid of over doing it so I tried the knife first.
