hi everyone. i was offered a savage 21 rtr in decent shape for 200.00. its stock except for new shock springs and upgraded exhaust pipe. it has less than a gallon run through it. this would be my 1st monster. in your opinions, is this a good, average, or everyday deal? thanks for your comments.

Its a pretty good deal, but i would just wait and get the savage 25 for 380 at hobbypeople or somewere. Because the new savages have better motors, roto start, 4 diff. gears, cam type servo saver. Trust me, in Rc, u get what u pay for, and if ur gonna do it, do it right. Just my opinion. But Savages do rule and are great.

Goodluck with whatever decision u make!!

Yes i agree on waiting and getting the savage 25. I got one and love it. I especially love the bigger engine.

i was not pay that much for an older .21...they are atleast 3 yrs old. search around ebay or some of the savage boards...*******************, savageracer.com, savage-central.com. those sites all are savage related and have for sale listings...

most i would spend on that truck is 150...shipped and insured

200 bones rtr thats a a very good deal..Were is it ill buy it!LOL
Guys read his post again..The thing is in good shape w/less then a gallon through it.
the spider mod is chump change..and any other mod to bring it up to todays savage whould only cost about 150$ more

So 200$ for the RTR + 150 more= 350$
I say go for it...
ZANDOR this message I approve

I agree with Zandor, 200 completely RTR is a great deal, as long as it truly only has less than a gallon on it.

great deal! if u get it just buy a SH .28 for it and it will smoke a savage 25 and still be cheaper. 200+130=330!!! thats what i wuld do...........
