I have the Airtronics 94358 servo on my race Maxx. Personally, I don't like it. But I am wondering if it is a compatibility issue. I am using the JR XS3 synthesized setup with the matching JR RS300 receiver. Am I creating a problem here? Where can I find a good knowledge base that lists compatibilities of the various TX's and RX's?

Thanks

I have the exact same set-up in my Maxx and Savage. Have not had any problems. What problems are you having?

Steering is slow at times, and glitchy. Also, does not return to center immediately. I just substituted a Hitec HS-5945MG digital servo and now it is perfect. Perhaps the 94358 servo is just bad, but I would like to find out how to check compatibility.

There should be no problems of compatability between rx and servo. I have had problems with the rs300 rx, as have other people. They are sensitive to glitching, especially with metal drivelines. I couldnt use it on my storm, but it works well on my RC10gt.

I have the XS3 with a JR Hi torque servo, did you try setting up the transmitter for non digital servos? (IE Frame rate?) look at Pg. 16 in instruction book .they do mention that setup for some servos may require "N" normal mode...
Maybe too that the pivot balls are to tight (pivotballcaps) I overlooked this once...

Front end pivots smooth as glass. I have had it apart a lot. Just replaced bulkhead last night........again. Frame rate, however, that is something I have never looked at. I will read manual as you suggest. Have you experimented with frame rate? Does it make a difference at all?

Thanks

I have digital servos. But I do notice a difference when I change from "N" to "F"...
