IPOD Nano

Ok fellas.. I just got this new latest gen nano through Ebay and the lame thing about it is that my Itunes does not even recognize it. Anyone have that problem? My old nano still works and it comes up all the time.

Is there something I missed?

Tried it. No workie. Is there an option where the IPOD is set for Mac and not PC? Looking in the menu but nothing yet. I have reset it but stilll not reading it.

jon, if you connect an ipod that is formatted for a Mac to a PC it will let you know it's formatted for another OS, vice versa on that too. I have two Nano's (2nd gen, one mine, one for the wife) and neither was an issue. The shuffle my daughter has fought me. I think there's two different resets, try the one that basically wipe's it out.

That is what I was going to suggest... there is a hard reset on that thing somewhere. I am not sure where on the Nano though. I had a hard time with my mini when I moved it from my desktop to my laptop. Hard reset took care of the problem.

Went to a different PC and downloaded Itunes there. It said it was for Mac. LAME!!! It never worked on my PC. WTH???

I got it to work though.
