I've been running a Badger dual action internal mix airbrush for quite a few years but only a lot since I've gotten into this hobby. although I've been really happy with it I'm starting to get a little irritated by the paint buildup on the tip of the needle when I'm trying to lay down the paint real thin. It seems like pushing so much air with little paint flow causes paint to dry and buildup rather quickly on the end of the needle causing inconsitant flow. I'm not thinking of replacing my Badger but I'm just curious what you guys think. Does using an external mix brush eliminate this issue?
