interchangeable parts

i got an offer on a first gen t maxx and i was wondering if the .15 and the latest version 2.5 have interchangeable parts?

Yup! There's a conversion kit available to make a first gen. T-Maxx a 2.5 one as well, otherwise the parts are interchangeable.

all of the parts are interchangable. The only difference is the wider suspension.

ok good. oh and is there some kind of conversion to make it a 1/8 scale truck. sorry for all the newbe t maxx questions but i havent been into the t-maxx for a while and i forgot allot about it.

To make it a 1/8th how?

i dont know. maybe alonger chassis or something in that matter. new era has a 1/6th conversion. but cost way to much and i dont like the way it loooks.

There are lots of extended chassis for the t-maxx (almost all of which are made for big block engines, again 1/8th scale). You can also buy the 1/8th scale diffs when you upgrade the engine, to improve durability. Check out my Cybermaxx thread. Thats a TRUE t-maxx... lol
