We are gettin' very heavy!!
Prolly more than 1000 eggs into it for hop ups and stuff by the time he's done... But I like it, and NO its driving if it's nice and dry, and yes I clean everything all the time, and NO I don't jump, bash, throw, drag or otherwise destroy anything with it. Oh, BTW, the 3.3 wheels are for sale, I need to liquidate to offset for the new wheels,brand new, never driven, not even chased the cat with em! PM if interested.

would i build one? no. will that air filter destroy your mill? yes. but you already know that!
nice looking show rig though. to bad they can't look that good and be functional!

I do run a stock filter this one is really just for show.
One of the first things I learned here was to listen/ read to what they say, and I decided to never run this filter, for above reasons.
Now RB would prolly call me a ding dong for not running it, apparently they are oiling them and you could even get a modified oiled foam into it, plus buy the nice colored filter cover for it and the risk would be 0, NADA, ZIP, Nix!
But i haven't bought or done all that, for me it's easier to just switch the stock filter right back on when I drive it.

Are you gonnsa do another lid for it.......or is the stock look your thing?

Dont get me wrong it looks great....I just like some of the pother styles of lids on such a sweet rig and with your new rims and tires it will beg for a Jcconcepts illusions or F-350 or something more propotioned to the tires you choose...

Here is the deal:
I have been looking for a custom lid ever since I got it, except for 4u2nv Andy, I was unable to get any of the big commercial paint- farts to even respond to my paint request. One guy quoted me like 350 dollars just for paint... Laughing hard I told him I was looking to have a body painted, not buy the whole place... I have to admit I never contacted too many people in here. And I really hate begging people to take my money.
A Ford Body will get me divorced, and I do not know who would get to keep the cat, so NOPE. Actually I'm looking for a stock Revo body, just with different paint... I hate (!) stock paint, really! If there was a nice Toyota Bj40Body, I'd take that too because I had one of these years ago. I don't want to drill though, I'm lazy.

Jetmech, just paypal me, say $1,200 (what a bargain! j/k) and I'll ship it right out for you to get it dirty... but I even posted an extra dirt pic just so everybody gets something!
I'd like to sell all the stock parts that have been replaced including all the weels I have accumulated during my headless search... but I may as well wait for the season to pick back up... I'd not wanna give them all away.

LOL, I've done my time in the trenches, my Revo has gone the way of the Talon. I was actually going to let Monkey drive it at the race next weekend, the bottom would stay all shiney since Mr Wrench spends a lot of time upside down!

:redbuggy: Nice Revo I got from The Jetman....he is one hell of a mechanic....it in the shop just now Jet, I think I tweaked the rear diff or the OWB in the Quickturn needs a cleaning.....it drags its ass end.....happened after a really rough run at my place....anyway its next in line for a once over.


I have one I could send you too let MW race...its an older revo with a 3.3.......but it won't matter because he will never complete a full lap....so no worries.....just let me know.

In fact you could just "borrow it" and then when he gets frustrated and quits......(couple of races)...just clean it up replace the parts and send it back....


JK MW I am sure you are a fine racer...*cough*


Anyway Revo me CandyMan paints lids for reasonable prices.....he painted this one for a project I am working on now.....very talented and professional dude.
Send him a PM and see if he is up for stock revo lid job.

Just need the tires & rims mixed together, rockers, exhaust (own creation no worries, no copper pipes welded together!) body and finally finding the bodymounts (plastic by now really looks silly on it and I am thinking RD Logics maybe?) The last thing is to have the outer housing of the EZ start gearbox chromed, or made so it looks like brushed aluminum as well... dunno... can't imagine any paint will stick to it. By now I have also given up on a chromed chassis... thats too expensive by the time it's done unless anyone knows of someone?
Lot's of ideas! Just missing the resources yet.

Andy has been very patient with me on this paint project, he's actually waited for me to finish the last inquiries off I had going (25 total) with all the big painters, and to me that means a lot! I have never seen a body with a picture glued into it before paint, and don't worry, it won't be Anna Nicole! I plan on producing a video about this project once it's complete. RCNT will be part of it!

A friend that does vinyl (think dirt late models and such) also does wraps for starter boxes and stuff like that. He put Jenna Jameson (when she looked good not like she does now with Tito) into his wrap for his Nomadio Sensor.
 
Have you seen the thread about removing the anodizing and polishing the aluminum posted on the board instead of chrome? You could then clear-coat it and it would be terrific!
