ok how do you guys secure wire mesh onto your bodies so they wont fall of while driving or a crash or what not just some strong hobby glue or what??? Because i cut my windows out and wanna make it look a lil better and keep the bigger peaces of dirt/rocks whatever out just wondering if you guys have any input on how to secure it to my body

I just put some mesh on my beater and I used a hot glue gun. The old lady had it sittin out so I tried it and it works just fine, and it holds up strong.

Imbroken but wire mesh on my maxx and after it flipped a few times it just fell off. we used hot glue. I think the shoe glue would be better because it will probably give a little under impact.

sLY

Before you try using the wire mesh, I suggest you use the vinyl replacement screen material. Light weight, & much more flexible than the wire... My 2 cents...

You might not used enough because I run hard and never once has it come off. Actually, I have flipped several times and the mesh that I used has been bent so much that it ripped into.

Not positive since I've never tried it first hand but, regular window mesh is probably to tight to allow decent airflow.

nope didnt use window screen i picked up some wire mesh from a arts and crafts store its name is Wire Form its holes are much bigger than in screening. The stuff i got is usually used to make mountain structures and such in model tain sceanery which is then papermached and i used Amazing GOOP to glue it on strong and extremely flexible its like rubber glue

I used screen like from a screen window. I did my screened-in-porch and had leftover screen, so I tried it on my on-road. I cut the grill out and put it up front. I used silicone and it's been on there after several crashes and stuff. I'll try to post some pics of it.
