I'm getting ready to put 4.6 in my 25 any on e have any opinions an which pinion gear to use, and vrnted or unvented clutch housing, and am I going to need new motor mounts i have the .25 nitro star in it now?:\

I run a 17/47 and it runs great there are many other gear combos. do some researching. the vented are harden steel and for me it works. The unvented bells do just fine it just depends on what you do. you dont want to run to big or the strane will be too much and it will over heat. and for the motor mount i want to say it will work big block to big block but i could be wrong.
 
It will be a direct drop in, no mods necessary. It's a torquey engine so I recommend 17/49. The Vented CB is not necessary, on a basher that is just one more place for a small rock to wedge itself in. Been there. Pick up a XL al. clutch shoe/spring set off E-Bay.
