installed .18tm today

should you follow traxxas guidelines on breaking in os .18tm or can you just fuel it a put around leaning it a little at a time? Should you keep RPM's down. When can you start really getting into the throttle? HELP!!!

I'd go with what OS suggests. If your engine didn't come with the manual, visit their web site and see if they have one online.

every motor needs a break in process, search for your engines break in process and if you can't find it, i sugest you should follow the traxxas 2.5 break in. during the first 3-4 fuel tanks no engine slould be given full throttle.

I broke my 18tm by the traxxas guidelines. I waited untill my 7th tank before I really got into it. But my motor runs great!

well I did get a manual with the os .18tm but it is very vague on exactly how to break it in. It doesn't really say much at all. Maybe Ill try the 2.5 break in just to be safe. thanks guys!!!
