When your installing your own tires on rims how do you know what is the outer tire wall and what is the inner? I have just bought a set of HB megabyte tires which have a white dot on the tire walls. Does this mean that should go to the inside?

Unless it's a directional tread pattern it shouldn't matter, I always mount mine with the dot to the inside just so it's not seen.

The white dot is to represent the rubber compound. I'm not sure what the levels are for HotBodies, but most other brands are coded by color as well.

Thanks guys had a check on their website and saw the colour codes. thanks again theres a lot to be taking in with all this rc knowledge

I've been running RCs since the invention of the wheel. I didn't even know that.
But then again, we only had one compound....rock hard.

Let me warn you though, the soft and super soft compounds are great, but if you're not racing, you'll waste them.
