I just got finished upgrading my RC18r with a Mamba 6800kv and some carbon/fiber goodies. The little sucker really scoots and is barely controllable. I have to roll on the throttle to get going and even then full throttle is a definite no-no. Here are some pictures of both RC-18s.

Sweet Setup Hamz! I recently put a Tekin BL setup in my 18T (6800) and I love it. I put a set of Road Rage tires on it and have a blast rippin up in the drive way. I think it is so cool when you are running full blast and the thing just breaks loose and spins... Problably not real good for the diffs but it is still fun as hell. I have some minor issues with the stearing setup though that I am trying to work out. I can't get the the servo horn to stay on tight so the steering alignment gets screwed up after a few laps. Nice rigs man.

Nice rigs Hamz. I have been contemplating getting an 18R so I can race on road with it and dedicate my Vendetta to off road. How well do the stock tires wear?

They tend to balloon at full throttle with Mamba 6800kv. But they seem to wear okay. Unfortunately while I was flogging it in the street in front of the house, I blew the rear diff. Oh, well. The great thing is that parts for these little beasts are CHEAP!

i picked up a RC18R yesterday and before i even ran it i took out the stock electronics and threw in my gear i had layin around i just got done balancing
the chassis weight left and right since I'm running lipo heres a pic of it after i balanced it...
