After the first real bashing session all I have to say is WOW. This buggy rocks. I must have spun end over end 10 times. Landed on my lid 12 and smacked the odd tree or stump more than I care to remember.....and NOTHING BROKE. Other than I scratched the HELL out of the bottom chassis there were some loose screws and such and I think I need to rebuild my front shocks.

So, after about 3.5 hours of cleaning here are some pics. Just click on the small pic to bring up the 1280x848 version. (These are very NON 56k friendly)

Congrats man! Its a blast isnt it!?!?!?!?

Thats what I like about it the most, nothing breaks hehehe

Its no wonder XXX-Main uses them so much!

Great pics BTW!

Thanks. :banana:

Yeah all 4 tires are noticibly worn. I've been through about a quart of fuel with them so far. I Kinda killed them by running on asphalt for a while.

Robriguez, I think you should provide some more detailed photos... :jk:

I own only a MT and have been looking for something in a stadium truck. I will assume that this vehicle is highly recommended.

If all your gonna do is bash I have to mention the Lightning Pro as well (less than $400 rtr).....but its hard to find parts right now...

I decided to take alot of pics because when I was going crazy trying to make up my mind which buggy to buy I found a ton of Lightning and Storm pics but very few Inferno pics. I figured if anyone else is looking for pics I can now help everyone out and provide some.

he bought the sport version. It's a good basher, but it has a few racing issues. the chassis is thinner than the normal MP 7.5. the design is not counter sunk for better CG (normal MP7.5 is). the stock engine runs a little hot. the main gear / spur gear is plastic. many of the standard mp 7.5 parts don't fit.

i'm not trying to knock it. it's a great basher and the name has some bling bling quality to it. :bling: if you have the money and you're going to race, skip to the standrd Inferno MP 7.5 though

Yes thats the one RobH is talking about. I beleive its a kit.

I had gotten the Sports RTR or "Ready Set" as they call it. With engine and all for less than $500

indeed:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUX44&P=7

REQUIRES: Engine: .21 (2-stroke) buggy-style
Radio: 2 channel w/ 2 servos (high torque steering servo recommended)
Manifold, Tuned Pipe
Glow Fuel
Misc. Items: Building, Track Equipment, Diff Oil and Shock Oil.

Now you see why the Lightning Pro had so much appeal to me. You get everything you need to make the wheels turn minus the radio for $340 shipped.

Sure it has some weak areas but down the road if you want to race, the chassis is solid and ready for anything you want to throw at it.

Racing setup:

Lighning Pro $340 ----> $340
Sell Stock .21BB -$75 ----> $265
Diff Gears (doh) $60 ---> $325
ProLine Tires $60 ---> $385
Wing & Fuel Filter $30 ---> $415

Now you can compare the Kyosho Inferno with the Lightning Pro.

Lightning Pro $415
Inferno MP 7.5 $480

If I had the money sitting in front of me to buy all the parts I need all at once (kit + engine, radio & exhaust) I would buy the MP 7.5. For an extra $60, it's worth it.

Yeah, that was the one I was looking at a few days ago. AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP... AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP... AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP... AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP... AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP... AFTER MY PANAMA TRIP...

It's not working. I really want to go but I really want that buggy. I HATE WAITING!!!

???Panama??? Damn she must be HOTTTTTT for you to go all the way down there?:hehe:

eres latino? hablas espanol?

I understaood 100% of that having only two years of spanish under my belt -- scary. Good think you didn't talk in the past tense. I would have been screwed.

I don't mean to knock your buggy man. It looks like you had fun with it. That's all tha matters. :D

:OT:

Kewl man. So thats why theres a Columbian Flag on your truck.

I'm 1/2 Chapin (or Guatemalan) but my spanish sucks. Dats what I get from hangin with tooooo many white gurls growing up. But I've learned my lesson. :hehe: Ya gotta love latinas! Mmm Mmm good!!

I've seen his buggy in action and drove it. I was very impressed with it's speed, handling, and durability. It's everything u would expect out of a buggy!:winnar:
