Racers:

We now have a NEW indoor dirt track. We have added and tilled some black dirt in with the clay, and also have a much deeper base. I had a couple of guys over last night (Curt & Doug), and all they could
do was smile!!!!!!!!!!!!! We now have even a longer high speed area, a whoop section, a corner up on the side wall, and nine turns instead of five. I think racers with all abilities will very much enjoy this new design. I drove Curt's big John Deer mower over the track, so all R/C vehicles should be able to scoot
around with out any problems. I all most believe we won't need many turn marshals, and there aren't any dangerous spots now when turn marshalling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW, we will be open this Wed 09/10/03 from 6 PM til 8:30 PM and Wed 09/17/03 6 PM til 8:30 PM
for a FREE Practice/ Race. We want to make sure every thing is just right before we start our Season!!!
You are welcome to come and tune-up you truck/buggy on these days.

Race season will begin Sept 24th (every Wed. nite) track opens around 5 PM races begin at 6:30PM, if you are coming late

that's really cool you guys made an indoor nitro track -- all season fun. the closest around here is an indoor micro track in some guy's basement.

how do you deal with expelling the nitro exhaust?

welcome to the forum.

ya that is what i was thinking, i think that the nitro would get to ur guys head and might be a little doosy. anwayz it really sounds like fun, we have nothing like that around my place. just the local hobby shops out door track. they are having the north western nationals this weekend. fun!!

I race at an indoor track in Napa Ca. Its great all year long.
Its in a big red barn and they have large fans at both ends.

I would think it would get LOUD as hell in there especally if you have a bunch of rides in each race....

We have two big exhaust fans, a 40' radiant heat over the drivers stand, and a big window that brings very FRESH ( cold )
air into the building.

Last night was our first night and we had about 35 guys show up to try out the track. Everyone was very pleased with the new track design.

We are looking for a GREAT season this winter!

Now only if I could get someone in Michigan to create an indoor track that was semi-local. :) Do you have any pictures you could post of your track?

pictures would be an excellent idea. i think all of us have wished for an indoor track around us. maybe we can get some ideas from how you guys did it.
