Sometimes the best part of this hobby is breaking something. It helps you learn the limits of your RC and it also teaches you something about wrenching (not to mention it gives those with less of a clue the opportunity to ask those of us here who have a clue how to fix things).

Regardless, MC has the right idea. Always have a spare parts locker ready to use when you are out. It will cut down on your down time and allow you to have more fun. Just ask Pirata. We are always trading spares to keep things going.

In the end, you have to do some kind of after run maintenance. Clean the thing up. Check for busted parts. Tighten and replace loose or lost screws. A little ARO if your next play time is greater than a week away. A little babying will ensure that there is a next time.
