Hey guys i've got a revo 3.3 and I'm in the market for a upgrade for a motor i think i have it narrowed down to the O.S. .21 or the Picco .26 . i was just looking for some input from people that owned either of these motors and how you guys liked them. I'm an all around basher, dont do much racing unless its with my friends.

Thanks guys:D

The Picco 26 is cheaper, but you need a mount. It also makes excellent power and tunes well.

The 21tm is expensive, but comes ready to drop-in. It's easier on your stock clutch and works better with the stock pipe. It's easier to tune and seems just a wee bit more reliable too.

Both are a huge step up from the 3.3.

i might swing towards the os .21 with that would i have to worry about toasting the trans gears i will be running a center diff with 100k and 60k in the front and 20k in the rear. also would i be breaking drive shafts?

Thanks

i suggest the picco i have run the picco .26 and the picco .26 JL RedDot as well and i had crazy good luck with both, the red dot is a bit more expensive but it has gobs more torque than the regular picco .26.

hey revo_rob_1984 j/w what do you run for a drive train with the red dot or the original .26. I'm just worried about stripping gears and breaking drive shafts I'm running all stock now i have a extra stock trans with a diff ill put in the big block set up. if i gotta up grade to steel i guess i will lol

Thanks

With the picco you should get a good 3 shoe clutch. You're stock pipe will limit the picco's power output too.

You should look into RB concepts. They have power to spare, fuel economy and their Italian designed and Built.

thanks for your help guys might just have to save up and get both lol next summer I've got another revo roller collecting dust
