I blew my trx 2.5 motor up the other day now i want a new motor i need the best bang for the buck dont want to spend all my money on the t-max so i need a drop in engine for the T-max and the max i will spend is $150.00 i need the best engine for that price someone plz help.

I think the os .18 tm will drop in for about $180.

Stormer Hobbies carries the Fantom .18 for under $150...currently Out of Stock but I would guess they would have them again soon. I love mine--tons of power and really holds a tune well. It's a drop in replacement for the 2.5TRX and you can re-use all your stock clutch, pipe and engine mount. Probably the only way you'll stay under $150, since there does not seem to be too many hot deals on the OS .18 since they are selling like hotcakes...

Why not just rebuild your 2.5 (50$) or send it back for exchange (100$)?
