I am in Thousand Oaks and wanted to know if there are any good indoor tracks around here. I got a team magic G4 a reallly long time ago and put it together got a engine but didn't finish off getting the last few parts til now so I need a on-road track to go to perferably in-doors cause it's belt driven car and all. I know about the one track in cam by the airport but i dunno if is all off-road or what any info would be awsome guys.

Revo Rancher is correct about So cal raceway They have an awesome track. I used to run my old XX-TCR there. The indoor track is nice and clean.

I live in Ventura and I don't know of any tracks like that here. Freedom Park track sux ass. They mainly have it "under Construction". I just grab my ramps and go to a park. The onroad stuff, well you are better off setting something up at an empty parking lot.

propably end up setting up a track on top of the janss parking structure or sumthing

Good luck doing that since that is a major shopping area. I would consider a school parking lot on a weekend. Since it is on road, I would suggest bringing a push broom or if you have a blower that would make things easier. If I had another on road, I would join ya. Do ya have any offroad stuff?

i have a t-maxx but i want to do some work on it mainly getting a new reciever etc so i can use my jr racing controller instead of the stock one. most of the time it never gets filled enough at the janss to fill the top level for example the local bmw dealer stores there x5's there along with some other dealer's cars. yea only other thing i may try is one of the local highschool's football tracks most of them have that foam/plastic material now.

Sun valley speedway has one hell of an onraod track. I'm not sure how far that is from you. Its about 5 miles west of burbank on the 5.

Most indoor tracks will be electric. It's very hard and expensive (electricity bill) to exhaust the fumes properly.

Just because you have a belt driven car doesn't mean you have to tip toe around it and find prestine tracks. Most tracks (permanent and temporary) will be prepared and blown free of debris. If you are looking to just mess around on a flat surface, then you may run into some problems with your belts if you don't have a leaf blower to clear the area.

I race my Serpent 710 on permament/dedicated tracks and temporary surfaces outdoors. I have yet to lose a belt due to pebbles. I probably will now since I may have jinxed myself. It's the luck of the draw. Just be careful and bring extra belts.
