ok so i have an O.S. Max .15 its been running great perfectly tuned its about 3 months old. i didnt change anything to it, i just cleaned the outside of it with some WD40 but now I'm having some issues, the car wont run unless it cranks high RPM's so it wont idle. also when it is running it has like a high nasely sound i know I'm not to lean because it was tuned perfect and i even richened it a little anybody know wat could be wrong???

sounds like you might have an airleak, do you tune every run or just leave it? you should tune every run because every day has different variables such as temp and barometric pressure wich will screw up your tune from day to day.

even if the environmental conditions efected the tuning of my engine it wouldnt throw it off that much my question tho is how could i have an air leak? just like 2 weeks ago i tested for air leaks, i havent removed anything all the screws are although i was going to try to get my old engine to run so i pulled the flywheel and clutch but that wouldnt change the running conditions

youd be surprised how much enviromental factors can screw up a tune.

did you seal your mill when you checked for airleaks? mills can come out of the box with airleaks

i just chcked for airleaks again... nothing do you think my plug could have gone bad?

i redit my needles today and for some reason my lsn was turned in like 5 turns from the standard position, i dont remember touching it but i guesss i will see if that fixed it

That means the O-ring is bad, replace them. I have seen LSNs turn in just from revving the engine up. Teflon tape is a temporary fix. Just a few wraps on the threads of the needle.

dont take me for a newb, lol i do know RC and nitro engines, i just dont know everything xD (WHO DOES?)
