I'm new. my hpi 4.6 savage. slipping?

I recently have put together my first nitro. a hpi savage ss 4.6. I've done the break-in. but when i hit the throttle hard or when the truck is on any thing but pavement it revs but just sits there. it looks like the clutch? isn't moving. I need help. thanks. :\

how bout the slipper clutch wich is on the spur gear?

Check and make sure the flywheel is tight enough against the collett and the clutch pads are in the right way with the springs...

the spur gear will only turn if there is no resistance at all

The problem is in your clutch, take you engine back out and make sure the flywheel nud in on the right way.
