I have looked for a while to get these questions answered but can't find exactly what i want to know. I'm sorry if there is a thead that has all the answers that i didn't see and made a pointless thread. I am very new to the hobby and need all the help i can get.

I would like to know if jumping with a t-maxx 3.3 is bad for it. and if so what upgrades should i get to make it better.

also, i would like tips on how 2 do custom paint jobs and special techniques you use to get cool effects.

thirdly, how often do u take your t maxx apart 2 clean it and do u put wd40 on any specific parts.

lastly, what breakin meathod do u use: Heat Cycling or the one that it says 2 use?

Thanks in advance.

I am no expert, but I can help you out with a few of your questions:

No jumping is not "bad" for the Maxx. However you may break something. It is no biggie though, you just replace the broken part and go jumping again.

Here is a good link (look at the articles on the left, bottom) They will tell you parts that will break easily, and provide suggestions for replacement parts that are more duarable.

Tearing the Maxx down to clean it is personal preference. I allways wipe mine down, but only do a complete tear down when something needs replaced.

WD-40..... This is not neccesary. EXCEPT, you should use it or a designated "After Run Oil" after you have ran the engine and plan to let it sit for a while.

Absolutly, follow the breakin procedures in the manual.

Hope this helps!
