hello,
well i have a savage with extensive mods and was thinking about making it into a pulling truck. you know like tractor pulls.

here is my list so far
truckzilla conversion
52t metal spur
12-14t clutch bell
upgraded bones and drive shaft
havent decided on tires yet
i have a wider track in the front and narrower in the rear
i already have nova towers and ofna buggy shocks

please enlighten me fellas
thanks
chris

How about your diffs? I wouldn't even think about pulling w/out the 4 spider mod.

I have seen pullers with double tires on each axel. More traction. Might want to look into that.

maybe looking for a gear with a insane amount of teeth like 72 or something, you would have to mount hte motor really weird but you would get tons of pull

see if you can rig up a way to use a steel t-maxx spur...

yeah you should build up your diffs and think about the twin tires on each axle. and good luck with it.

diffs are a def prob the ofna diff mod
and should i go with the single 4.6 or the twin motor?
anything else to think of doing
the twin tires are alot of rotating mass and might kill my tq.
mybe use soem mulchers with some spikes cut out not sure yet
keep the opinions coming

torq is good but so is traction even trade off.
I would put the twins in.(engines)

one motor is a pain to tune i couldnt imagine 2.

what about tires?
mulchers hmmm
