Ok, so as long as you have brakes it'll bring the nose down. I thought maybe the rear brake might take away from that, but the more I think about it I can see how it will still provide a way to drop the nose during a jump.

with normal brakes you have rear brakes, the trans is a solid shaft so one brake pad applies force to both front and rear. with the diff, you get a diff action at the trans so it would "diff out" with only one brake pad. adding the rear just gives you 4 wheel braking again.

Ah, DUH!! Thanks for explaining so the slow kid could understand....LOL

I should be good now, I got it in my head that the center diff affects both throttle and braking.

so how is the rear brake and the center diff I'm thinkin about getting one

Holy crap! This post is old. The rear brake and the center diff is amazing stuff from what I've read. I have an E-Revo so I can't use the brake, and I have no need for the center diff so...

Good luck man.

I'm not a racer so I wouldn't suggest the center diff, just a normal FOC. I've had a lot of problems with my rear brake binding up. I'm pretty sure it was my own fault but now the screw holes on the tranny (the ones that hold the rear brake assembly) are stripped out. I'll need to either buy a new tranny case or just a normal FOC. With a normal FOC the brake on the front of the tranny will stop both the front and back wheels. I'm leaning towards doing that. I don't plan on racing the Revo.
