Yikes man kill the Cap Lock... I can't even read what your asking without going blind....

I might be wrong but I have read a couple of times those trucks run better with 20% nitro or higher! I would still check with the other guys or girls if I was you!

Welcome to RCNT. Please do not make posts in all capitals. That is considered yelling and is hard as hell to read.

As for your problem, you may have an air leak causing your already hot running engine to overheat. Check for leaks at the fuel filter, carb, and fuel tubing. Also, verify that the fuel tank is not cracked and makes a good seal when the lid is closed.

If you have made as many mods as you stated, make certain that you did not put an overly lengthy bit of fuel tubing in for your pressure line. This will lead to a lean condition and cause the engine to overheat. Proper length should be between 7 and 11 inches while most others will recommend between 6 and 12 inches. Regardless I run about 9 inches for both pressure and fuel feed lines. Seems to work like a champ.

Other than that, a few more details might be needed to further trouble shoot your ride.

Also, as mentioned. Move to a 20% nitro content fuel. It will let the engine run cooler.

thanks 4 ur reply.iv cut my pressure line dwn 2 6 inches, but ill have a good look rnd 4 air leaks, since iv reduced the size of the pressure line iv noticed the engine runs a bit longer b4 over heatin but its still a pain in the ass,iv checked the sleeve and piston 4 wear but it seems 2 b ok,is there any compression testers arnd u can use on rc engines,if so does any 1 no what compression the bore is supposed 2 have, thanks

Cutting the pressure line to the six inch mark means you are putting more pressure into the tank. This causes the engine to run rich. As the tank empties it will lean out some, but what you are witnessing is normal at this point.

I would still look for an airleak.

As for compression, most people use a feel method. As in they just go by how the engine feels. One that I have used is this:
1. Turn the engine until the piston is at top dead center (TDC).
2. Hold the engine by the flywheel so that it is vertical (as in the normal orientation when the engine is installed)
3. I then lean it a little to one side and let the engine fall through. It should take a bit to get the engine to fall through. If not, then it might be time to get a new sleeve and piston combo.

Others will tell you to rotate the flywheel through 360 degrees. If you feel a pinch at the top of the stroke, you are good to go.

spell check....
for not 4
to not 2
(just hard to read cut my pressure line dwn 2 6 inches) when numbers are close like that.
Also check to make sure your carb is not cracked at all. My brother in laws maxx had the same prob ended up his carb had a bad crack in it. Check to make sure that your back plate is on tight, and that your head is tighten down all the way.

it could be that hees usingt 16% arent you supposed to used 20 or 30 in a nitro.

Man, that's almost like reading a text message on my cellphone from relatives overseas! Hurst my head reading it.:whack:

Hey, at least he quit yelling.
You need to lose some weight after all those hop-ups.
Cut out the donuts. If that doesn't help, then I recommend removing the batteries in your receiver pack, then remove the throttle servo and leave the carb wide open. You'll lose plenty of weight chasing the car.
