I have been trying to tune the Revo 3.3 and keep having issues with the idol. The car LSN seems to be adjusted right and the cars temp is running between 260-270, the problem I am having is that everytime I accelerate and then take my finger off the throttle the idol continues to run very high. When I stop the car the idol gradually slows back down. Also, sometimes the car dies when I push the break.

Both needles are set way to lean. You man what to turn them back to stock settings and go from there. 4 on the hsn and flush on the lsn. On my 3.3 and 2.5 I usually run about 240-250. Usually when you idle stays high when you let off means that you lean on lsn but with those temps id go back to stock and go from there.

Check your carb and make sure it's fully seated and that the but is tight.
I've seen it twice were an unseated carb was causing a lean condition that couldn't be dialed out.

I went through something similar this weekend...I just couldn't get the truck to run right in general as well as the idle problem you describe.

Eventually on Sunday some gleam of insperation struck and I checked the glow plug...fouled! New plug solved all my problems (once I got the tuning back in line from all the messing I had done :))

your lsn is too lean. you can do a pinch test to see. pinch the fuel line near the carb nipple and it should idle for 3-4 seconds speed up and cut off.

I checked the LSN with the pinch test and it idols for about a second then gradually speeds up for 2-3 seconds and dies. Is that to lean? thx

I would say a little lean. I would richen it out 1/8 at a time run it a few laps and check with pinch test.
