ok i got a savage .21 and my car is running around 220 degrees but everytime i lean it out it gets really hot and stalls. so my question is by turing the LSN (clockwise) a little will that give me more rpm? (I am scared to touch the LSN at all!)

How does your truck respond when you hit full throttle from a dead stop?

it kinda bogs down a bit but NOT so much you can really notice it, it seems my car is not hitting second gear when i am running it this rich. :fro:

Lean out your LSN 1/8 turn and see how it does. How does the engine do on the top end? When you get going, does it sputter? bog? flame out?

really it does just fine, it just i dont see it going top speed.

i have another question how much is 1/8 of a turn???

Also, lean out your HSN 1/8 turn.
An 1/8 turn is half of 1/4 turn. Imagine looking at a pizza. Now imagine cuttting it into 4 equal pieces. OK now cut those 4 pieces in half. You should have 8 pieces, each of them being 1/8 of the pizza. Apply this to your needles.
I would start by ignoring my first post, and just begin with leaning the HSN 1/8 turn and see how that is. If it's still not reaching top RPM, lean it out another 1/8 turn.
Do that untill you get your top-end down. If when you get your top-end adjusted right and your off-the-line accelleration isn't what it should be, adjust that, but before you mess with the LSN fix your top-end.
LSN adjustments:
-If when you accellerate your engine bogs down, lean it out in 1/8 turn increments.
-If you you accellerate the engine revs up quickly and dies, richen it up 1/8 turn increments.

Just play with your needs a little bit, but only do one needle at a time. Also, don't mess with your MSN, you most likely don't need to. Keep at it man, you'll get it down!
