Went together really easily I'm ready to print I think I'm just gonna run this .20 grams they sent to try to print one of those cube tests I am nervous, wary, excited and nervous all over again lol

The elegoo pla runs well through that machine, it’s not necessary to run the bambu brand stuff. I have even done abs.
Don’t be nervous, this thing is a piece of cake to run. Eventually you will figure out settings and parameters, for now, the basic profiles will get you going. I’d be happy to give you any pointers you need as well. Just go for it!

o you guys are gonna regret me getting this thing for sure lol
i have 1 question so far, i only have this little loop of filament 20 grams, i dont have a spool but for this little of an amount i shouldt need one right? how do i put it on the ams? just lay it there ( thats the current plan) and I'm guessing the machine then registers that there is only filament in the one tube so it will only feed from that tube correct? I'm close to trying my first print still doing the diagnostics

Ha! I don't have one. I have nary the patience nor the inclination for one. I gave my nephews one for Christmas. My brother in law has gotten it figured out and if I need something he said he'd just make it. He's looking into doing tire insert at the moment. We have a symbiotic relationship. I buy the tools, he fixes stuff. I work on his guns, he works on my RC stuff.

As far as my butt is concerned, I have a tattoo back there that says " exit only ".

Yay! No crashing! Pics? You don't have to wait til it's done to post pics bro. That first layer is THE MOST critical layer, and will tell you if your bed is correct.

20 grams will print you a benchy

Yay! No crashing! Pics? You don't have to wait til it's done to post pics bro. That first layer is THE MOST critical layer, and will tell you if your bed is correct.

His bed will self level every time, as long as the plate is clean with no greasy fingerprints, it will print a good level first layer everytime.
I have adjusted mine to print even slower on the first layer for better quality.
Clean the plate with some dish soap after you touch it with your greasy fingers @majin

Good to know. But don't you have to get the bed level with knobs or anything first?
