I want to run my Savage XS on 3S but...

So, I want to run my Savage XS on 3S but do I really have to change the gears? I just don't feel like taking the whole thing apart right now to run it on 3S. Any feedback would be great, thank you.

You will most likely over heat the motor if you dont swap gears.
