I want to go alot faster I wanna pop wheelies and tear up on some 2wd trucks. I was thinking the. 26 picco red dot but I can also trade my 2.5 for a 3.3 for alot less money and I cam get the 3.3 with a pull start. Would the 3.3 stand the truck up on the bumper? I've been thinking about gears and a tuned exhaust pipe also.

yes they can. if you go with the picco you will need to start upgrading drivetrain parts(diffs, driveshafts, trans gears) because all that power will eat those parts for breakfast. if you go with the 3.3 you can get an aftermarket con rod that is much beefier and will not break like the stock one does.

You can't even compare the quality of the Picco and the TRX 3.3 engine. You will go through a pile of Traxxas engines before you wear out a Picco. Not only that the Picco is WAY more powerful and is easier to tune ect....all around a way better engine that you will be happier with in the long run. THS puts out a pretty good tuned pipe for the T-Maxx. Stay away from the dual exhaust...look cool but run like crap, the Buku is another trendy item that is also a POS...all hype.

Oh good to know I guess ill be saving money I was the long run with that picco. So who are you guys using for drivetrain parts.

robinson racing make great driveshafts and cvds, as well as steel trans gears and hardened diff gears. also for the diffs you might want to find aluminum cups and make sure the diffs are shimed properly

What about a .21 engine will I break as many drive train parts. I've been pricing everything out and my drive train is gonna be just as expensive as the engine

OS .21tm engine

I have herd good things about the OS .21tm. I do not have one but was thinking of getting 1 soon they sell for about $200 on e bay new. probably not as good as a picco but must be better than a TRX 3.3 ???

What about riffs? I don't like spools I'm looking for a strong spider gear. And what kind of clutch bell and spur gear should I go with? I'm looking for a good top end cause the motor will already have enough low end torque.
