I've always liked functioning rc brakes... Also the way the motor does it I just don't like, but that's really the only way on a slash or TRX-4. Yeah, with 1300, I could fix the 4wd on my 4-wheeler and still have money leftover to fix my rc's. But also, Traxxas x-series size are usually 1000 minimum. I'm honestly a little exited that there are more of them. I live in Colorado, and let me tell ya, that would be fun when we go to the great Sand dunes. Idk if they'd let me do it though. Also, that's a trip maybe once every 2 years.
I don't see these big rc's as 'ok' to run on a public beach. I think thats where I could maybe use it. (off season) Maybe an old sand pit or something?
Maybe someone will sell a new set of skins to dress it up a little?
It could be cool but I'm far from sold on it. I need to see how I can use it where I live.

Reactions: hold the 'like' button down and be amazed! 😁

If you have 1300 bucks in your pocket and you live in the desert, go for it.
Not just the desert...don't forget the beach, or anyplace that has sand (especially sand dunes), or 'soft' dirt. In all honesty, I believe this vehicle is actually going to do quite well, and should be at least reasonably popular, if not more so. Believe it, or not, I'm actually considering my highly upgraded X-Maxx, to help fund purchasing this.

That said, a couple years ago, when Traxxas started getting 3rd-pay websites about down, and threatening lawsuits, just because they didn't like the prices that these businesses were selling their TRX4m upgrade parts for, I vowed to not purchase anymore Traxxas RCs until the company "gained some morals". Here we are, 2+ years later, and while I still don't believe they are on the higher end of "having morals", I do believe they have learned their lesson, and are actually working towards that direction. That is part of why I would consider getting this...but, only if I can sell the X-Maxx first, and for at least a reasonable amount.
