i want a really fast touring car! there was a rtr i forget the name but it can go over 70! i also have a super rs4 so maybe i could put a big block in that? i was also thinking of going a twin engine car what chassis would good for that? haveing 2 engiens in my mbx 4 is kind of tempting!

You're thinking of CEN Racing's car. The RTR CT4S is advertised to go 73.4 mph right out of the box. According to the site, they're coming out with a 3 speed tranny sometime in the near future too.

There is also the Schumacher Fusion. That one is a 3 speed and is supposed to do 80mph!

yep thats the one thanks

what chassis would be good to put 2 engines in? i think one that currently uses a smaller clutch bell and has the engine facing parralel to the chassis? i might jsut have to use my mbx4 because I'm gunna get a new engine anyways and it meets those requirments and i could use like a 22t clutch bell up from the 13-14 since there would be more then double the power.

i would like to use the tc3 chassis but i think it uses too big of a clutch bell but are there any others with the same type layout that use a small clutch bell?

Just remember, it's cool bragging rights having a car that hits that speed. At that speed, it's a monster trying to handle. Great for the parking lot but in all honesty, I think properly geared, tuned, and setup suspension wise car along with someone even in the advanced skill level would outperform that car. One thing is for sure, even though it's a 3 speed, it has to have some really tall gears so holeshots wouldn't be too impressive also exits speeds on corners.

Speed is one thing, smoothness is another.

if i adjusted the steering curve, the car would be a lot easier to handle

Well, I am estimating my NTC3 at 50+ since I dropped in the .15 CV-RX in. I know that it is great in a straight line, but handling get's loose at those speeds. Handling has a lot to do with droop, shock preload and oil weight, spring rates, toe, camber, caster ... you get the idea. It's not just adjusting the steering rate. That just helps you with over correction and also helps with the learning curve.

I may not be the best driver, at most I'm intermediate but I know my car and how it handles because of the setup I made. I would prefer a good handeling car to just all out speed.

If you're set on getting the CT4S, go for it. Just take some time to learn the characteristics of it's handeling and take it slow. There's noting worse than cutting short a day of bashing because of a bad crash.

Speed (Power) is nothing without control.....start with a car which not so fast so you can build up some driving skill before trying to beat all your friends in a straight line race.

That's what I did. I started off with the kit and a pretty good performing engine OS .12 cv-rx. I learned how she handles and how to adjust suspension to improve handling. Now I have stepped up the power to the .15 CV-R. Still learning, just going quicker.

If you just want speed, and it's just parking lot dragging, drop an onroad .21 in your Super. I have a Wolfpack Conversion Super Nitro and was dragging my friend's car, when he had to slow down he was doing 75 and my car was still pulling away from him. Remember with all that speed, comes alot of money on maintenance, since the power takes an awful toll on the drivetrain. Also off road motors such and the ones you have are more for torque then for speed. If your looking for that kind of speed, you would probably be better off buying Serpent 950R, it's made for that kind of speed. Don't get me wrong, my Super is a sight to behold traveling that fast, but it's even worse when it blows over going 70+. And, in a parking lot, I'm sorry to say, but when a car goes that fast and is that explosive off the line, you can crawl through a turn, and a better handling car, doesn't come close. Good luck.

for some reason i just dont like my super nitro

The Super Nitro is bigger and a more stable platform for that kind of speed. It also has the ability of moving smaller lighter 200mm cars out of the way if it came down to it. You can go for a Big Block 15, this will probably be easier on the drivetrain, but then again top end big blocks put out almost as much power as lower end .21's. Also I believe you were asking about a car that would do 70+. This is an option unless you want to go for a 1/8 scale, which is probably your best option since it's made for that kind of speed and will be a much better quality car, then say a Cen, but comes with a stiff price tag.
