i might be gettin the hpi racing proche 911 turbo clear body from a friend today if i do I'm puttin it on after i paint it and ill post my own pic request i was jus wondering if i would rather have a skyline instead cause its my fave car but he only has a porche so oh well it still be tight!

man i want to but can't afford a new body, the porche i can get fro like 10 bucks but in time ill def have one on a maxx or my next vehicle which will prolly be a savage which would still look sick as hell!

Um.... I have a Skyline....I could put a T-Maxx body on the trunk and take a picture. So it would be a T-maxx body on a Skyline....would that work?

You have a Skyline? Wanna be my new freind Joey? lol.

I live in Japan...Skylines are a dime a dozen here. Want a S-15 Silvia? Can get those too! Toyota Soarer...fancy a Chaser? I am planning on packing up a Nissan RB25t engine to bring back with me though. Either that or a Toyota 1J or 2J turbo. Only time will tell.

Ok, I know this is the exact opposite of what you were asking for but....here is a T-Maxx body on a Skyline....lol

That looks decent, needs to be a little longer, but decent. Still not sure when I'm gettin the porche body, maybe this weekend, but then I'm not really sure when i'd get around to paintin' it and decalin it either. Anyone else have some street "on-road" bodies they wanna throw on there max for fun?

OK, i still need to paint and all that good stuff. But i finally got the body and got it semi cut out so far. So heres what i got if anyone else was interested in what it would look like, it would work better on a 2.5 since there shorter but i have the 3.3 and i think i'll be pleased with the outcome! Let me know what ya'll think?!

it fits better than the wrx body......lookin good so far, keep the pics comming!

I'm still not sure how i want to paint it up. I was thinkin paint the hood section gun metal as to simulate a carbon fiber hood and then not sure what else to do. I know i'm going with a deep purple as the main color though! Its kinda my favorite color next to cobalt blue so ill figure out somethin nice to do with it, jus gonna take time. ill post the updates as i get tmie to work on it!

Rolex, you're an ass! :hehe:

To do the carbon fiber just get some of that rubbery drawer tool box liner stuff with the square holes in it. Then cut a piece to cover the area you want the cf look. Lay down the liner inside the body, in your case on the hood, and put a light coat of some silver over the drawer liner then carefully lift the liner up, carefuly or you will smear the paint. Then I like to back it with pactra pearl charcoal. That's all there is to it.
