I bought a truck off of Ebay a week ago it is in great condition i got it running yesterday but today when i went to run it i only have reverse can anyone give me some pointers on what to do?? When i use my controller it shifts from forward to reverse but forward just revs the engine high. If anyone has any advice please tell me!

pull the linkage out somemore when shifting to forward.just help the servo and see if you get forward.
 
when you do it with the Transmitter, does it work?
 
yes, the selector from forward to reverse makes it move in and out, i think there might be something wrong in the transmission what do you think??
 
i used to have an old .15 maxx that would only go in reverse and come to find out the little spring in the forward primary gear wasn't throwing out the clutch to grab it andd turn the gears forward
i think its a $9.50 piece at yout lhs
 
trannies are easy to easy i rebuilt my whole old pro .15 tans for about 45 bucks minus the cases and the huge metal rotor that runs everthing and its a hurkin hunk of steel u pretty much can't kill that piece id just get two new primaries that should solve the problem
 
Good news the forward just magically worked today i just was rotating the tires forward on the stand and now it works..?? Thanks for the replies my truck flat out rips!!!
 
its definatly the spring in that primary then because mine would work then stop and work then stop
