hi, I'm thinking on buying a truckzilia convertion kit but i dont know if i should. the main reason I'm thinking on buying one is because my motor is almost shot and i want to get a new motor. the one i was looking at is the nitro star k4.6 the price for that was $195.00 and the truckzillia was $220.00. here you can check the motor:

and the truckzillia kit:

if you scroll down there are some specs, but i can't decide on what to get so can you please help me

thanks, MR.?

hi mate

i wouldn't recormend you get the truckzilla the engine in the kit is rubbish.

the k4.6 is a good engine i have it and it has plenty of power and the top end is good as well.
there are other engines as well that are just as good maybe even better but i not really sure what they are like so someone else will probely recormend these engines:)

Don't get the truckzilla kit, I've heard nothing but bad things about that .46 engine.

The K4.6 is a good engine, but its over priced. For $199 you can get a Ofna/Picco .28. I have this engine and its incredible. Just more power all around than the K4.6.

The truckzilla isn't a new item. Look around the Savage forum and ya aren't seeing much posted on it. That should turn you off right there. If it was good there would be a lot more posts.

Let the guys here point you in the right direction for an engine.

Does that make me a bad person for selling a customer a truckzilla kit at the shop? lol.
He was set on it, and it had been in this one spot on the floor for a few years, so I let him have it, lol......I'm surprised he hasn't yet come back bitching about it, haha.
But yea, had he not been set on it I would have tried to sway him more towards one of the axial .28's or another good engine...

well thanks for helping me out, i defenetly changed my mind but can anyone suggest a good motor that i should use

thanks,mr.?

I've had good experience w/ my axial .28....great power, great price (about $140), fast, easy to tune, easy to start...it's just a good all-around engine...

If your on a budget those engines mentioned above are great.

I went with a Picco .28 and am very impressed. My friend has a SH .28 and the overall quality of the picco is much better, and it has a smoother and stronger power band. Its a 9 port too, the high ended is very good for a big engine.
