ok i got a moded tank for my truck and one of my shocks would always pinch the fuel line and make a hole in it. so as of now i have 7 shocks (stock) on my truck. my question is i want to just have 4 shocks on my truck, is it possible? also what kind of shocks would perform the best with only running 4 shocks? :tank:

Dude look at Skymaxx's rig, He is running four heavy duty Buggy shocks and says it is just plenty for his ride. Look in the post your savages here thread I think he even says what he used to get himself setup there.

hey skymaxx i like how you did your shocks, what did u use, can u please help me. THANKS!

I believe that he wants a 4 shock setup. Sky is using buggy shocks with New era models upper contorl arms and if I am not mistaken the stock towers. You should contact him for his exact setup though.

You can do it with buggy shocks as Skymaxx is, or you can also use Unlimited Engineering supershocks. You will however also need to replace the upper a-arms in order to run maxx size shocks on the Savage. New Era makes a nice set of upper arms to use t maxx or buggy shocks on your Savage.

Umm just disassemble your front end as normal and take the pin that the upper control arm rides on out and put in the new one put the pin back in and you should be good to go. Should be pretty straight forward if you have ever had your front end apart.

Pissant, I believe I answered al the questions about my set-up via PM. If anyone else wants to know just ask, but the basics are all covered here in this thread.
