well i have started on putting in the reverse module, my question is when i install the module i need to take the 29t gear off the the gear shaft and put it on my module, how the heck do i take those tiny little mm c-clips off the gear shaft that is binding the 29t gear there, here is what they look like http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDLF8&P=7

You may need to either goto your LHS for help on that or I think there is a plier like tool made just for "c clips"........but either way talk to your LHS if no responce here, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction.

I carefully used a small flathead screwdriver and a pair of pliers. When you put the clip back on, be sure it doesn't take a flying leap into never never land. But it can be done with those tools.

man my lhs is 25 min away, so there is no possible solution for me at all

Get creative. It can be done.

i was alwayz takin my reverse module out all the time for various reasons. use two flatheads, hold one side of the clip in place so it wont rotate and use the other flathead to push up so it comes off, then take it off, that simple man. just dont loose it, its best to do this under a towel with the round part of c clip facing away from you so it will stop by hitting the towel if it does fly off
 :whip: good luck.
