i would like to get a good brushless system for my emaxx
something like a novak or even the vahalein if it will push my truck well
i might have cash or trade depends on what you got so please let me know

You're going to need the Novak HV Max series brushless system, either 4.5 or 6.5. The 4.5 wil rock with a lot more power, but the 6.5 will have longer run times. Castle Creations is coming out with a Mamba Monster within the next month or so that will also work on a Maxx sized truck. If you've got any more questions I'll help you with what I can. I'm no SweetDiesel or RobMob, or plaidfish, or any of the other gurus, but I will help you out with what I can. I have been doing a lot of research on the brushless system for my E-Maxx and the Revo that I'm going to get pretty soon. I also have a Castle Creations sidewinder for my RC10T4, and there quality was so good I bought Mamba Max 6900 brushless system just because it was a mamba priced reasonably. I think I'm going to put it in a Stampede until I get a dragster built, and I will have quite a brushless fleet. Also, I ordered the maxamps.com 6000 HV 2S LiPo battery and a hyperion charger from them. You will probably be looking at about $300 for the LiPos for your brushless system and a decent charger, plus a couple hundred for the brushless system. Just wanted to let you know what I've discovered. The valineon that you mentioned wont work on the E-Maxx.

yeah ok i am thinging of not doing brushless now that i saw the sticker shock nitro is my thing ill probably sell the maxx and rustler

You could put an amazing brushless system in your Rustler for about $120 bucks. It's the monster trucks that are so expensive because they require so much power. But you can also put a very powerful brushed system on there for a very reasonable price. It's kinda like saying I don't want to get a nitro because the racing engine I looked at was $1200. You can get a very capable engine for 100 bucks with the axial engines. Same with electric.

what can i do to get decent run time with nice power for the emaxx?

You could use the ESC that you've got, get some decent 19 turn motors for about 20 bucks or so on ebay, and get some Venom 3300 Batteries for 20 bucks a piece on ebay.

yeah whats the estimated speed doing it that way?

Well that can vary a lot depending on how you gear it, but if you gear it so that it will have a lot of pick up for bashing, you can probably expect about the same speed and power as a T-Maxx 2.5

damn that would be nice but for 150 bucks i can do alot to my revo
