I LOVE MY SAVAGE, i love my savage, i love my savage. God, if only hpi made 1/1 trucks as tough as the savage, i would buy one. Hold on, i think they do, it's called a Ford.

Seriously though. I put this truck through hell today. Jumps, bad landings, did a little bit of racing against a truggy, he kicked my ass, but then he broke, hit my own 1/1 truck wheel hard enough to unglue the tire from the wheel on the savage.....etc etc etc. This is the ultimate basher. Might not be the best handling thing out there, but this is about fun and the damn thing provides tons of it.


I love this truck.....
 
Yeah for better handeling I got big bores and a new steering servo. Sounds like your savage is newish? heh.

Newish??? Nahhh....its a savage 21. It's pretty old, but everything on it is redone. I do have lst2 shocks and a 208 oz/in servo on it, but the stock tires and wheels make it handle crappy.....good for bashing though....
 
Ya I'm lovin my x 4.6. Its all stock except for the radio and and pipe and this thing will wheelie at half throttle or more!! I couldent imagine a bigger motor in here and I'm running 20% nitro. I also have the 3 speed at home to install still but I'm just havin too much fun! I took both my diffs apart the other day, cleaned em up and put 7k diff oil in,what a diffrence. I love this truck, very durable. I beat the crap outa it and only break minor things. Couldent ask more from the motor. Seems to have tons of torque and top end. My gears are 16/47. I tried 49t spur but waaay too much torque. 47 is even too much.
